FYSA – US Youth                      
US Youth Soccer is excited to announce the release of the Player Development Model, which provides a curriculum for clubs from the Under-6 to Under-19 age groups. The curriculum is designed to serve as a standard to guide each of US Youth Soccer’s 55 member State Associations and more than 5,500 clubs on how to effectively train athletes of all levels and abilities. 
FYSA – US Youth                       
US Youth Soccer, the nation’s largest youth sports organization, today announces Axon Sports as a long-term strategic partner for computerized baseline testing for concussion management, leading the way in making soccer safer for kids at the grassroots level.   
 
Region B ~~~
Region B finished their Knock-Out Round of Regional Cup and are looking forward to the Challenge Round; Feb 25-26 and then on to the Finals at Clay County Soccer Fields. A Big thank-you to Joe Duffy who helped to organize the TOPS Festival for Region B. I heard that all the kids had a great time at the first Region B TOPS Festival. Great appreciation goes to Becky McLaren, her son, and Cody McGhee for helping with the Festival by setting up and being on site at IRS. This year at the AGM; there will be an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets on items to raise money for the TOPS program. 
 
Region C ~~~
It is a busy time for Region C!  Region Cup kicks off February 25th.  This year we will hold the Region C Cup finals at Kelly Road in Fort Myers.  Check out the Region C page of the FYSA site for all the latest information regarding Region Cup. 
Kohl’s Cup is coming to Region C March 17 & 18 at the Osceola High School.  You can register for Kohl’s cup in GotSoccer by CLICKING HERE

Florida Tournaments --- 
 
Florida’s spring season is an exciting season for tournament play. You will see the 4 different regions in FYSA battle inside their Region Cups for a chance to advance to Florida’s Presidents Cup. You will also see over 400 teams fight for the State Cup Championship and a chance to advance to the National Championship tournament. These tournaments are open to all Florida Youth Soccer registered teams allowing them opportunities to advance to play for Regional & National Titles
