FYSA had hoped to kick off the inaugural year of play for the State Premier League with this coming Fall 2011 season. However, rather than beginning with year 1 as a stand alone concept then developing the future phases to achieve integrated play with local regional league play, we have decided to delay the beginning of State Premier League play for 1 year, beginning in the Fall of 2012. This will allow the planned roundtable discussions that would have taken place during year 1 to develop in advance, the structure and implementation plan that will allow promotion/relegation with local based play to become a reality from inception.
We want and need your input! Our first round table to gather suggestions as well as feedback on the concepts already thought out will be held during the upcoming AGM in Orlando,
July 30, 2011 from 9 am until 11 am in Coronado C. Please RSVP to Sandy Parker at
sparker@fysa.com or Dale Burke at
dburke@fysa.com.
Additional round tables will be held around the state in the coming months as well. The proposed structure will be reviewed by the Competition Committee for submission to the EC and BOD for approval in January 2012.
