FYSA was excited to bring a new speaker to the Awards Dinner in 2009, Jonny Roberts.  Roberts adds comedy and songs to fit any venue where he performs and is billed as one of "America’s Funniest Clean Comedians."  Jonny has appeared at the Grand Ole Opry and concerts nationwide with such entertainers as  Sinbad, the Platters, Juice Newton, Jo Dee Messina and many, many others.  He has appeared on over 300 TV shows, is seen in syndication nationwide, and is featured on radio stations nationwide.

In addition, FYSA was pleased to announce that Pat Williams, Senior Vice President for the NBA’s Orlando Magic, presented a workshop session on Saturday afternoon regarding leadership and team building.  Also one of America’s top motivational, inspirational and humorous speakers, Pat has addressed employees from many of the Fortune 500 companies.  Pat is also the author of over 50 books, his most recent title being Chicken Soup of the Soul: Inside Basketball.  Since 1968, Pat has been the general manager with teams in Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Orlando.  In 1996, Pat was named one of the 50 most influential people in NBA history.  Pat and his wife, Ruth, are the parents of 19 children, including 14 adopted from four nations. Pat and his family have been featured in Sports Illustrated, Readers Digest, Good Housekeeping, Family Circle and The Wall Street Journal.

FYSA was also pleased to announce that Bob Gansler was the featured clinician at the AGM in Orlando. Gansler is recognized as a preeminent coach in the United States and worldwide.  Gansler has been involved with soccer in the United States as a player and a coach at all levels.  As a player, Gansler played in the National Professional Soccer League and the North American Soccer League, played on the 1963 Pan American team, captained the 1967 Pan American team and captained the 1964 and 1968 U.S. Olympic teams.  He also had a total of five international caps with the U.S. National team.

As a coach, Gansler coached Marquette University High School to a state championship and the Milwaukee Bavarians to the National Amateur Cup championship.  Starting in 1975, Gansler served in various coaching positions with the U.S. National Teams and was eventually named Director of Coaching and the head coach of the U.S. MNT in 1989, leading the U.S. to their first World Cup Finals appearance in 40 years in Italy 1990 during his two-year tenure.  Gansler also coached in college at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and the professional ranks, including seven years with the Kansas City Wizards where he won the 2000 MLS Cup, 2000 Supporter’s Shield and 2004 U.S. Open Cup.
