2014 Annual General Meeting Registration Open
Florida Youth Soccer Association has and will always be dedicated in fostering the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of Florida’s youth through the sport of soccer.
With this as our focus we move into our AGM with new opportunities in developing soccer through our membership by uniting with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Through this relationship FYSA will be able to bring the development of soccer with our membership to a whole new level.
FYSA’s President, Marino Torrens has said “Florida Youth Soccer Association is excited to be partnering with the NSCAA on the 40th Anniversary of our organization. FYSA believes that this partnership will allow its membership to benefit from both the administrative and coaching sessions that will be provided.”
Traditionally at the AGM, club administrators have been the focus with workshops and sessions in how to operate and grow your club from an administrator’s level. This year FYSA and the NSCAA will give coaches and administrators the opportunity to attend both the FYSA AGM and the NSCAA Symposium, taking advantage of our groups pricing discount for both events.
Coaches and administrators will have the opportunity to attend the AGM events including:
Continental breakfast for Saturday and Sunday, coaches meetings with FYSA’s DOC Mike Strickler, numerous workshops for not only club administration and coaches but dedicated parents as well, 3v3 street soccer (more info soon to come), Saturday night awards dinner with a special keynote speaker (soon to be announced), AGM after party, and the Annual General Meeting on Sunday
Coaches and administrators will have the opportunity to attend NSCAA’s Symposium events including:
Two and a half days of field and lecture sessions, a networking social and lunch, clinic outline books and a keynote session. Confirmed presenters include Lynn Kachmarik, director of national outreach for Play like a Champion Today; Donna Fishter of Donna Fishter Consulting LLC; and Tony DiCicco, NSCAA Goalkeeping Academy Director
“The NSCAA aims to provide quality coaching education experiences to as many coaches that want to take advantage of it,” Joe Cummings, NSCAA CEO said. “We do that through the development of the Summer Symposium, as well as with our partnership with the FYSA. This event is sure to represent the pillars of the Association: Learn. Participate. Belong.”
Full schedule of the weekend’s events will be available soon. More information and registration at www.fysa.com/events/agm
