Hosting a Tournament

Tournaments are one of the most exiting parts of soccer – they provide team bonding, a fun competitive environment for players, a chance to meet new teams and an overall celebration of soccer!

If your club is interested in hosting their own tournament, the first step is to identify what type of tournament that you will be hosting. There are three different tournaments that FYSA refers to: a restricted tournament, unrestricted tournament and an international tournament. All of the documentation for each of these tournaments can be found in the links below.

Hosting Applications - Required Items

Post Tournament Information


You will need to return the following items to FYSA at the completion of any tournament.

  • Red Card Summary (Example)
    - Due within 72 hours of end of tournament.
    - Along with the red card summary, you will need to submit the game cards, official rosters and referee supplementals of
      all players, coaches, or referees that received a red card.

  • Post Tournament Report (Example)
    - Due within 15 days of the end of tournament.

  • At the conclusion of your tournament, please send scanned copies of your original documents (Post Tournament Report and Red Card Summary) to Melinda Kapocsi at the FYSA State Office. This information can be directly emailed to mkapocsi@fysa.com.
