FYSA Coaching Education Program

Player-Parent Clinic: 2 hour clinic will include player clinic with parent and coach education module to provide information on issues dealing with the various age groups.


6/8, 8/10 and 10/12 Modules: Age specific training with appropriate activities for youth players. Each of the three modules is six hours.


F certificate: 8 hour course is the introductory course to 11-a-side soccer of players 12 years old and up. This course also serves a preparatory course and prerequisite for the E license course.


E certificate: This course will be a prerequisite for the D license. The course deals with 11-a-side soccer for coaches of players that are 13 years old and up. This course is 18 hours.


D license: The D license is the highest state license course for coaches of players 13 and up. The D course includes written, oral and practical coaching exams on the field. The D course takes 36 hours.

U.S. SOCCER SUMMER NATIONAL COACHING SCHOOLS TAKE PLACE
JUNE 7-15 & JUNE 21-29
Limited Space is Available; Don’t Miss the Opportunity to Earn a Nationally and FIFA
Recognized License, Learn From Some the Nation’s Top Coaches
(April 25, 2008) – U.S. Soccer’s National Coaching Schools have been providing high-quality coaching instruction for over 38 years, and this summer you will have a chance to take your coaching education to a new level. Coaches can obtain a nationally and FIFA recognized “A”, “B”, or “C” level license and increase their knowledge of the game.
Summer courses are set for June 7-15 at Darlington School in Rome, Ga., and The Home Depot Center in Carson, Ca., and June 21-29 at Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest, Ill. Additional summer coaching schools will be announced shortly.

Participants at U.S. Soccer’s popular National Coaching Schools will have a chance to learn from some of the nation’s top-level instructors, including current and former National Team and professional coaches. There will be field and classroom sessions every day, as well as field and written exams to test your levels with the best in the country.
