About the Florida State Cup


The Florida State Cup is the first leg of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series and is the highest premiere competition at the state level. The National Championship Series is the country's most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing approximately 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.

General Information:

  • $850
  • Age Groups: 13U - 19U
  • D License Coaching Requirement.
  • Played statewide.
  • State office coordinates all schedules for the competition.
  • One game per day.
  • Finals played at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale.
  • Seeding points can be achieved for a bye into Round 2 of State Cup.
  • Winners progress to Southern Regionals.
  • Winners of Regionals advance to National Championship Series.

State Cup Application


The Florida State Cup is limited to teams registered as 13U or above. The application must be entered online in GotSoccer using the FYSA registered team account in order for a team to be accepted in the competition, and can be entered by the club registrar or a registered team staff member rostered to that team that received access to the FYSA GotSoccer team account. The entry fee will also be paid using the GotSoccer Application process.

Deadlines for Application:

  • 13U - 18U Divisions - No later than close of business at 5:00 PM (EST) of December 1, 2016. No late applications will be accepted.
  • 19/20U Divisions - No later than close of business at 5:00 PM (EST) of February 7, 2017. No late applications will be accepted.
  • Hosting Agreement Deadline: December 1, 2016.
