Event Roster

FYSA now has an “Event Roster” that will enable registrars to create a roster with guest players from with in their own club, and have all the players appear on one form.  This roster can be used whenever an “official roster” is requested. Only persons with Registrar status can complete this roster. 

It is imperative that when using the “Event Roster” that the team be aware of the competition’s guest playing rules, as this roster does not assure compliance to the rules of the competition.  This roster only certifies the player’s registration status with FYSA.

This roster is found under the “Registrar’s Tasks” tab in the secure section. A few general questions regarding the event are asked, including the name of the event, age and gender regarding the division the team is entering, and the team code for the team. Coaches can be selected from within the affiliate. There is a list of rostered players that fit the division, and the ability to add additional players from other teams within the same affiliate, and their team code will be listed.

Should a team desire to enter a division that is “younger” than the coded age of the team, only the age appropriate members will be included on the roster. For example, if a U 16 team that consists of three true U-16 players, and fifteen U-15 players desires to enter a U 15 division of a tournament, only the U 15 players will be listed as eligible, the U 16 players will be excluded.

Guest players from other affiliates will not be listed on this form, and must still have signed guest players forms in order to participate.
