FYSA in conjunction with the Lake County Soccer Club is hosting a TOPSoccer Coaching Course. Sam Snow, US Youth Soccer Director of Coaching Education, will be the lead instructor.
Date: September 11, 2010
Location: The classroom portion of the course will be held at the Mission Inn Resort in the “La Paloma” room. The address is 10400 County Road 48, Howey-in-the-Hills, FL 34737. The field portion of the course will be held at Hickory Point Park, 27343 State Road 19 Tavares, Florida 32778
Schedule: 9:00am – 12:00pm Classroom
1:00pm – 2:00pm Field
If you are not familiar with TOPSoccer: US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability.
This course is designed for leaders of TOPSoccer programs and those who are working directly with players in TOPSoccer programs. If you know someone within your club who has an interest in TOPSoccer please pass this information along to them. There is no cost to attend this course. There are a limited number of spaces available.
