Thank you for your interest in being a part of the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA). Whether your club or league is new to FYSA or you have been a member for years, we are excited to partner with you for the upcoming soccer season! The process of becoming a member is quite simple and all of the information that you will need can be found right here on this page.
Below you will find all of the necessary information that you will need to submit to our organization to be recognized as a member of the association. Video tutorials are also available to help guide you in the process of applying for membership or if you have additional questions.

Forms have been created for the new affiliate application that must be used. These forms make the distinction between those organizations that are affiliates and those that are associate affiliates. All documentation must be complete when submitted.
All completed documents must be submitted to the FYSA office no later than 60 days prior to the March or October BOD meeting. Please be aware that New Affiliation submissions will only be reviewed at the March or October BOD meetings. The office will verify the completeness of the submission; the FYSA office will then send a copy of documentation regarding new affiliation to the Vice President of Administration & Communication; The VP of Admin & Comms. will notify the Region Vice President that the new affiliate would reside. When approved at an EC or BOD meeting, the appropriate notation will be made on the form, and the form and all documentation will be filed in the FYSA office. Affiliations not approved will be returned to the applicants.
When documents are filed for an organization to become a member of FYSA, the FYSA office will notify all affiliates within 15-miles of a prospective affiliate's home field, at least 30 days prior to the BOD meeting in which the application will be considered. Existing members may submit objections to the prospective affiliate's acceptance, based on the requirements found in Rule 102.3. Those objections for consideration must be submitted as a formal letter to the FYSA Board of Directors (sent to the State Office) and must be received no later than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled BOD meeting.
The Agent of Record will submit affiliation renewals and updates directly online. Procedures are in place that will assure that only current affiliates can re-affiliate.
In the case of problem affiliates, the office will notify the appropriate DC of all written complaints received regarding an affiliate so that the BOD can take appropriate action.
This is done per FYSA Rule 104.5: "District Commissioners and Regional Vice Presidents shall report in writing excessive affiliate complaints to the BOD for consideration as to renewal of affiliation."
With the FYSA office and the DC having copies of all complaints, they can be brought before the BOD at the appropriate time. FYSA gives the power to approve affiliates to the BOD and the EC in emergency situations.
