The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Coaching: Getting Started

Coaching__Getting_Started

The Florida Youth Soccer Association has more than 200+ affiliate clubs & leagues throughout the state. Use our Club Finder page for an interactive map with a complete list of all clubs. Once you have located a few that are in your area, contact them directly to see if they are in need of coaches for the upcoming soccer season. Tryouts typically occur after the Challenge Round of State Cup (beginning/middle of May). Contacting a club prior to this time period will allow you to find open positions for competitive or recreational teams.

All coaches are encouraged to acquire the appropriate license to coach a youth team in Florida.
