SUMMARY:U.S. Soccer Grassroots 7v7 Course - Hosted by Florida Youth Soccer association in association with Mutiny Soccer Club - Palmetto\, FL
DESCRIPTION:Course Details: \nThe 7v7 In-Person Course is a four-hour course that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically\, coaches will learn more about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy\, Play-Practice-Play Methodology\, the Six Tasks of a Coach\, and the characteristics of players ages U9 and U10 . The course will also ask each coach to reflect on their experiences to develop action steps for personal growth in the Six Tasks (Coaching Games\, Coaching Training Sessions\, Leading the Team\, Leading the Player\, Managing the Performance Environment\, and Leadership). \n  \nCoaches will be asked to participate in discussions so each person should have access to a web-camera/live video capabilities. Coaches may be asked to participate in the field component as either coaches or players\, so please come prepared to actively learn. \n  \nSchedule: \nMonday March 31st\, 2025 – 7:00PM – 9:00PM – Virtual Webinar (Link will be provided at a later time) \nWednesday April 2nd\, 2025 – 5:30pm-7:30pm In-Person Field Session at Buffalo Creek Park – 7550 69th St E \nPalmetto\, Florida 34221 \n  \n(You must attend both the Webinar (Virtual) and Field Session on the above dates and times in order to complete this course and receive the License.
