DESCRIPTION:The 7v7 In-Person Course\, in partnership with Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride\, is a four-hour course that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically\, coaches will learn more about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy\, Play-Practice-Play Methodology\, the Six Tasks of a Coach\, and the characteristics of players ages 9 and 10 . The course will also ask each coach to reflect on their experiences to develop action steps for personal growth in the Six Tasks (Coaching Games\, Coaching Training Sessions\, Leading the Team\, Leading the Player\, Managing the Performance Environment\, and Leadership). \n  \nCoaches will be asked to participate in discussions so each person should have access to a web-camera/live video capabilities. Coaches may be asked to participate in the field component as either coaches or players\, so please come prepared to actively learn. \n  \nSchedule: \nWednesday April 16th – 7:00PM – 9:00PM – Link to be provided at a later time. \nThursday April 17th – 6:00PM – 8:00PM – In-Person Field Session at Knights Point K-8 School – 4890 Golden Knights Blvd\, Kissimmee\, FL\, 34746 \n  \n(You must attend both the Webinar (Virtual) and Field Session on the above dates and times in order to complete this course and receive the License.
