AUBURNDALE, Florida, July 13, 2020 – The Florida Youth Soccer Association, the largest youth soccer organization within the state of Florida, announced today a new logo design for its brand. The emblem encompasses the company’s mission and values as a united leader for youth soccer across the sunshine state.
“This creative endeavor started in late 2019 with ongoing changes made internally by the Florida Youth Soccer Association board of directors and staff for several months,” said John Stacey, President of the Florida Youth Soccer Association. “The fresh, clean, and modernized logo emphasizes our commitment to the Florida Youth Soccer mission: United: We Lead, Innovate, and Inspire a Lifelong Passion for Soccer.”
The updated logo design was a made possible through a national partnership between US Youth Soccer and SME Branding. Ten free hours of design & creative services were made available to each US Youth Soccer state association. The project was a collaborative process between the Florida Youth Soccer Association board of directors and staff. The following elements are the story of the new design:
- The Shield: Represents our leadership and guidance as an organization dedicated to youth sports.
- The Ball: Puts our sport at the center of our world.
- The Letters: Strong and bold to accurately represent our organization.
- The Landscape: Clear and distinct to proudly represent our great state of Florida.
The Florida Youth Soccer Association will start rolling out renewed content with the symbol slowly, but it can immediately be found on the organization’s website, social and digital platforms and will continue throughout the 2020/2021 soccer season.
