This is a reminder that all FYSA registered coaches and staff members are required to be “SafeSport Trained” by the time of their next background screening. This process started on July 1, 2018, and will continue for the immediate future. We also recommend others in your club/organization who may not be required to register with FYSA become SafeSport Trained.
The course is free for all FYSA members. Those who previously became SafeSport Trained will not be required to take the course again for the 2019/2020 registration. However, they will be required to complete a “Refresher Course.” Please find below several documents on the SafeSport Process, FYSA Sexual Harassment & Abuse Policy, and Bill S.534.
