Florida ODP Players Set to Compete at Interregional Event in Kissimmee

Florida Olympic Development Program (ODP) players are preparing to take the next major step in their soccer journey as they compete in the upcoming Interregional Event in Kissimmee, Florida. This prestigious event brings together the top players from each region—South, East, Midwest, and West—to compete in a high-level environment designed to identify athletes ready for National Team consideration.

Interregional teams are formed by combining the best players from each state within a region, creating an elite pool of talent and a highly competitive setting. For many players, this event represents a critical opportunity to showcase their technical ability, tactical understanding, and overall readiness for the next level of the U.S. Soccer pathway.

The 2026 Interregional Event will be hosted at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, bringing together elite ODP athletes from across the country. The Boys ODP Interregional competition will take place January 15–19, followed by the Girls ODP Interregionals from January 22–26.

A Key Step in the National Team Pathway

The Interregional Event serves as a vital evaluation platform within the U.S. Soccer talent identification pathway. Players are challenged against top competition from across the country while being closely observed by national staff. Strong performances can open the door to future National Team opportunities and continued advancement within the ODP system.

Florida Youth Soccer Association congratulates all selected players on this outstanding achievement and wishes them the best as they represent Florida on the national stage.
