WHAT IS TOPSOCCER?
US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. The goal of the program is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.
TOPSoccer creates a fun, adaptive environment for players 4 to 21 years old. Programs are geared toward player development rather than competition. Athletes learn skills and have fun!
4th Annual TOPSoccer Festival with the Tampa Bay Rowdies
The Fourth Annual TOPSoccer Festival, hosted in partnership with the Tampa Bay Rowdies, brought joy, excitement, and community to athletes of all abilities. This year’s event, held at the Rowdies Training Facility, marked a significant milestone with participants, coaches, and volunteers coming together to celebrate the spirit of inclusion through the beautiful game.
TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based program designed to provide opportunities for athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities. The annual festival has become a cornerstone event, showcasing how the power of soccer can bring people together and create unforgettable experiences.
Calling All TOPSoccer Leaders! – Save the Date
We’re excited to announce the 1st TOPSoccer Seminar on December 7-8, 2024
The Seminar will be held on Saturday, December 7th, in Oldsmar, Florida. This seminar provides an excellent opportunity for coaches and volunteers working with athletes with special needs to enhance their skills and knowledge in a supportive and engaging environment.
The event continues on Sunday, December 8th, with the TOPSoccer Festival at the Rowdies training facility. At this event, attendees can apply the activities and techniques learned during Saturday’s training sessions.
The event will be held at the Courtyard Tampa Oldsmar and is free to attend. A special room rate of $135 per night has been secured for attendees from December 6 to 8, 2024. The room block will close on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
