Florida ODP Player Called Up to Mexico U15 Women’s National Team
Florida Youth Soccer is proud to recognize Florida ODP State Team player Victoria Valencia-Vonversen on her call-up to the Mexico U15 Women’s National Team for the UEFA Development Tournament in Portugal.

Victoria, a 2011 player and member of IMG Academy’s U15 Girls Academy team, has been part of the Florida Olympic Development Program (ODP) since 2023. ODP is designed to identify and develop high-level players through advanced training, competitive events, and exposure opportunities at the state, regional, national, and international levels. The program brings together top players from across Florida to compete and train in a challenging environment that supports long-term player development.
Through her time with Florida ODP, Victoria has continued to elevate her game while competing alongside and against some of the best young talent in the state and region. Her selection to the Mexico U15 Women’s National Team is a reflection of both her dedication and the developmental opportunities provided through the ODP pathway.
Representing Mexico on the international stage, Victoria and the U15 Women’s National Team competed in the UEFA Development Tournament from May 14–29 in Portugal, facing strong international competition from Portugal, England, and Poland. The team opened tournament play with a scoreless draw against Portugal, followed by a match against England, and an impressive 4–1 victory over Poland.
“Florida ODP has been a big part of my development, and it gave me the confidence to compete internationally with the Mexico U15 Women’s National Team,” said Victoria Valencia-Vonversen.

Victoria’s achievement highlights the impact of the Florida ODP program in helping prepare players for opportunities at the next level, both domestically and internationally.
Florida Youth Soccer congratulates Victoria on this incredible accomplishment and looks forward to following her continued success with both Florida ODP and the Mexico Women’s National Team program.
