FSPL Qualifier League: Key Points of Emphasis

As the FSPL Qualifier League continues to take shape, FYSA is highlighting important updates to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for all teams. From scheduling to roster regulations, these points of emphasis will help clubs, coaches, and players navigate the league efficiently.

Reschedule Policy:
A revamped reschedule policy is in the works, aiming to minimize unnecessary changes while ensuring fairness for all teams. The focus is on encouraging teams to prioritize their league schedules and limiting reschedules to situations beyond their control, such as weather-related disruptions.

Match Card & Score Reporting:
To streamline matchday operations, FSPL Qualifier League teams will follow a standardized process for reporting scores and submitting match cards—mirroring procedures used at higher levels of competition. This will ensure consistency and make the transition between leagues seamless for teams progressing through the pathway.

Discipline Reporting:
A more structured approach to discipline reporting is being developed to provide clarity for clubs and referees handling red card incidents. By improving communication and tracking suspension lengths more effectively, leagues will be able to manage discipline issues in a transparent and timely manner.

Roster Building:
To maintain roster flexibility while ensuring competitive integrity, FSPL Qualifier League teams will adhere to the following guidelines:

  • A 30-player maximum for FYSA Registration Events
  • League rosters will be sourced directly from the FYSA Registration Event
  • Dual-rostered inter-club players will be eligible to participate

These updates reflect FYSA’s commitment to providing a well-structured and competitive league environment. Stay tuned for more details as we continue rolling out information on the FSPL Qualifier League!
