Regional Divisions: FSPL will introduce regional divisions within FSPL 1 and FSPL 2, dividing teams into North, Central, and South regions. This strategic approach aims to streamline competition, minimize travel burdens, and ensure fair matchups for all participating teams.
FSPL PLAYOFFS: A new postseason event, the FSPL PLAYOFFS, will debut, featuring thrilling semi-final and final matches. Scheduled in the Spring, these playoffs accommodate players’ commitments to their high school soccer seasons while delivering top-tier competition.
Semi-Final and Final Matches: The FSPL Playoffs will culminate in semi-final and final matches held at neutral venues overseen by the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA). These showcases promise a high-quality atmosphere, complete with top-tier referees and invaluable college exposure for young athletes.
Operated by FYSA and overseen by the FSPL Commission, the league remains committed to upholding high standards of organization and governance. Teams interested in participating in FSPL can expect a season-long schedule packed with competitive games strategically scheduled around FYSA cup competitions, high school commitments, and major holidays.
To ensure the sustainability and quality of the league, FSPL requires teams to pay an application fee per season. This fee covers the management of the league, although referee fees are not included. Additionally, teams must participate in either the President’s Cup or State Cup during the season to qualify for FSPL participation.
As anticipation builds for the 2024-25 season, FSPL invites players, coaches, and fans to join in the excitement and be part of the next chapter in elite youth soccer development in Florida. For more information about FSPL and how to get involved, click below.
