U18/U19 State Cup Registration Extended Through August 16, 2024
Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) has extended the registration deadline for the U18/U19 State Cup until August 16, 2024. This extension offers more teams the opportunity to participate in the prestigious tournament.
For the first time, the U18/U19 State Cup Semi-Final and Championship matches will be held in the Fall instead of the traditional Spring timeline. All FYSA-registered teams in good standing are eligible to participate in the State Cup, with no league requirement necessary for entry.
Teams that are eliminated by Round 8 of the State Cup will still have an opportunity to compete in the Presidents Cup during the Spring season. However, National League teams are exempt from this option.
The Florida State Cup, proudly sponsored by Publix, is the first leg of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series and is the highest premiere competition at the state level. State Cup Champions will advance to the USYS Southern Regional Championships to compete for the Regional title! Regional Champions will then advance to the USYS National Championships for the National title! The National Championship Series is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing approximately 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.
