This week, we hosted the second in-person meeting for our B course at MLS Orlando City. This course has been a great experience for all. Oscar Pereja, Orlando City’s Head Coach, stopped by to say a few words at the first meeting. This time, we had Mauricio Pochettino, the new USMNT Head Coach, stop by before the team left to beat Jamaica. Pochettino took time preparing for the game against Jamaica to share some thoughts and inspirational words about U.S. Soccer, the National Team, and Coaching Education.
“It doesn’t get any better than this on a Coaching Course. It’s these types of experiences that we want to incorporate into all of FYSA courses and keep us at the vanguard of soccer education,” Mark Godwin, Associate Director of Coaching for Florida Youth Soccer Association
FYSA is really making its U.S. Soccer pro-pathway courses an experience to remember. It is working with all the pro and semi-pro clubs in the state to host some of these courses and make them truly outstanding.
