Jeremy Christie – A Champion for Youth Soccer Development

Jeremy Christie has dedicated his life to the game of soccer, not just as a professional player, but as a mentor, shaping the next generation. As the Executive Director and Founder of FC Highland in Orlando, Christie has built a program focused on more than just winning games; he’s cultivating young athletes into confident, skilled, and resilient individuals.

A former professional player with experience on the global stage—including representing New Zealand in the 2010 FIFA World Cup—Christie brings a wealth of knowledge to Florida’s youth soccer community. Under his leadership, FC Highland has become a hub for player development, offering high-level training while prioritizing character, teamwork, and personal growth. His commitment extends beyond the field, with strategic partnerships that provide scholarship opportunities and access to cutting-edge resources for aspiring players.

Beyond FC Highland, Christie serves as Girls Technical Director for Orlando City Soccer School Seminole and Director of Soccer at Lake Highland Preparatory School, further reinforcing his dedication to nurturing young talent. With a USSF A-License and Director of Coaching License, he is not just teaching the game—he’s shaping futures.

Through his exceptional leadership and unwavering passion, Christie continues to make a lasting impact on the youth soccer community, inspiring the next generation of players to reach their full potential. His innovative coaching methods not only focus on developing technical skills and tactical understanding but also emphasize the importance of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment, Christie encourages young athletes to overcome challenges both on and off the field, fostering a sense of confidence and resilience. Moreover, his commitment to mentorship and community outreach initiatives ensures that aspiring players from diverse backgrounds have access to quality training and resources, further enriching the soccer community’s fabric. As a result, Christie not only cultivates talented individuals but also shapes well-rounded citizens who are poised to contribute positively to society.
