As the Executive Director and Founder of FC Highland in Orlando, Christie has built a program focused on more than just winning games; he’s cultivating young athletes into confident, skilled, and resilient individuals.
A former professional player with experience on the global stage—including representing New Zealand in the 2010 FIFA World Cup—Christie brings a wealth of knowledge to Florida’s youth soccer community. Under his leadership, FC Highland has become a hub for player development, offering high-level training while prioritizing character, teamwork, and personal growth. His commitment extends beyond the field, with strategic partnerships that provide scholarship opportunities and access to cutting-edge resources for aspiring players.
Beyond FC Highland, Christie serves as Girls Technical Director for Orlando City Soccer School Seminole and Director of Soccer at Lake Highland Preparatory School, further reinforcing his dedication to nurturing young talent. With a USSF A-License and Director of Coaching License, he is not just teaching the game—he’s shaping futures.
