FYSA Launches Florida Girls League, Unifying Girls Soccer Across the State
Auburndale, FL – Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) is proud to announce the launch of the Florida Girls League (FGL), a statewide league that unites operations for seven established girls’ soccer leagues under a shared vision for the future of the game in Florida.
The Florida Girls League is the result of a collaborative partnership among Elite Development Program Florida (EDP), Greater Central Florida (GCF), Greater Hollywood Soccer League (GHSL), i10, South Florida Premier League (SFPL), The Florida League (TFL), and United Soccer Association (USA). Together, these organizations have aligned to create a more connected and consistent competitive environment for female athletes across the state.

Operating through regional divisions administered by each local league, FGL will combine statewide alignment with trusted local league services. Beginning this season, girls teams that previously participated across FYSA’s competitive league structure will compete within a single unified platform, providing enhanced competition opportunities and participant experiences.
“The Florida Girls League is a testament to what can be accomplished when leaders work together. By aligning operations and creating a unified experience, we can spend less time managing complexity and more time expanding opportunities for players across Florida,” said Ryan Foley, FYSA Executive Director. “This collaboration demonstrates how leagues can leverage their collective strengths to streamline administration for clubs, create greater consistency across the state, and build divisions that prioritize meaningful competition.”
