Apply to Host a Tournament

Member Clubs and Leagues are eligible to apply to Host a Tournament or Games. US Soccer has established two types of tournaments that members can host:

  • Unrestricted Tournaments are open to all members of the US Soccer community and foreign teams with permission from their National Association. Tournaments permitting foreign teams must submit an application to US Soccer.

The tournament director entered on the form will receive an email notice upon application approval.

For reference, please see a PDF version of the agreement(s) and attestation(s) that are acknowledged and produced during the digital application process:

Permission for International Teams

In accordance with the Ted Stevens Act, an organization that plans to host a tournament or games involving foreign teams must receive permission from the National Governing Body. The application processes for hosting a tournament or games involving foreign teams and for foreign travel by U.S. amateur and youth teams can be found on US Soccer’s website:

  • International Team Hosting Application Process
  • Foreign Travel Application Process

Upon receiving permission from US Soccer, the permission form must be shared with FYSA by the Host to receive approval.
