Strikers Miami FC and Montverde Soccer Club Crowned State Cup Champions
AUBURNDALE, FL (October 19, 2025) — The final weekend of the 2025 Florida State Cup delivered intensity, passion, and championship-caliber soccer. Hosted at Lake Myrtle Sports Park, the tournament’s 18/19U finals brought together four of the state’s strongest programs, each fighting for the chance to be named Florida State Cup Champions.
The 19U boys final featured a showdown between Strikers Miami FC and Southern Homestead Soccer Academy. From the opening whistle, both sides pushed the pace, trading possession and testing each other’s back lines. Strikers Miami capitalized on key moments in the match, showing composure and creativity in front of goal to secure a hard-fought victory. The win for Strikers Miami marks another milestone for the South Florida powerhouse, whose consistent performances throughout the season culminated in this State Cup triumph.


In the 19U girls final, Montverde Soccer Club faced off against W&H America in a match defined by determination and tactical precision. Montverde showcased their trademark balance of defensive structure and offensive rhythm, controlling key stretches of play and finding the breakthrough they needed to lift the trophy. The team’s collective effort and composure under pressure earned them the championship and a well-deserved moment of celebration on the Lake Myrtle stage.
